Who we are: A network of certified Live Food Chef Consultants who are passionate about providing the most delicious organic live vegan foods at the most reasonable prices possible. We are focused on relationships and community and believe in supporting our local economy. Therefore, we cultivate close relationships with local organic farmers, and other suppliers as well as our customers. Each chef is approachable (and easily accessible through their personal email address) and will make every effort to answer any questions you might have.

Where we stand: While most of our chefs practice some degree of organic raw vegan lifestyle, we do not make judgment on those that eat a diet different than our own. Like so many things in life, it is a matter of personal choice. We value the ability to choose and so we honor ourselves and others and provide this option of delicious raw food for the benefit of all.

Our name: Dalene was the name of a woman that lived next to my mother when she was pregnant with me (Mia). This woman embraced community, was a loving, kind, giving soul and she made a profound and positive impact on my mother. So much so, that when I was born, I was given ‘Dalene’ as my middle name. The values and attributes of Dalene are also the values and attributes of this business, so it seemed fitting to name it after the original Dalene. We spell the business name with a lower case ‘d’ to remind us that we are unconventional - and that being different can be a gift.
